Red River Judo – Trial Class Waiver
Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that Judo is a full-contact martial art involving throws, takedowns, grappling, and physical exertion. Participation carries inherent risks including sprains, fractures, concussion, serious injury, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge and acceptance of these risks.
Responsibilities
- Follow all instructor directions
- Abide by dojo safety and hygiene rules
- Report any injury immediately
- Refrain from participation if conditions feel unsafe
Release of Liability
I release and agree not to sue Red River Judo, its owners, instructors, volunteers, and facility owners for any injury, damage, or loss arising from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
I agree that Red River Judo retains the right to refuse or discontinue training to any participant for any reason, including safety concerns or violations of dojo policy.
Minor Participants
If signing for a participant under 18, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and consent to participation.
Media Use Consent
I grant Red River Judo permission to use photos, video, or recordings of me (or the minor I represent) for promotional or educational purposes without compensation. I may request removal of specific media when reasonably possible.
